Who Can Apply?

Humankind Housing provide accommodation to people with specific support needs.  To be eligible the applicant should already be receiving or be in need of support to help them live independently.

Our tenants include Single Parents and Young Families and those with support needs in relation to Homelessness, Mental Health, Offending, Learning Disabilities and Substance Misuse.

Humankind Housing have various types of accommodation which include intensive housing management, floating support and specialist drug and alcohol dependency schemes with 24 hour support.

Types of accommodation

Humankind Housing have over 200 bed spaces.  These include 1 and 2 bedroom houses and flats, family homes, shared accommodation and specialist supported projects.

We have accommodation in Bradford, County Durham, Darlington, Hartlepool, Hull, Manchester, Sheffield and Southport. 

Eligibility requirements depend upon the type of service, accommodation and area you wish to apply to.  Some of our services can only accept applications from direct referrals or through other support agencies.  Further information on eligibility can be found using the links below or you may wish to contact your preferred area directly for further information.
