Useful day to day maintenance advice

Below you will find some useful information, tips and YouTube clips on day to day maintenance and repairs job which anyone can undertake.   You may wish to check these out before raising a repair.  However, please only undertake these tasks if you feel confident to do them. How to bleed a radiator:

If the top of a radiator remains cold when the rest of the radiator is hot, may mean that there is air in the system. You can check this by following a few simple steps.  You will need a radiator key to open the valve and a cloth to catch any excess water.

Please note that after bleeding a radiator will often reduce the pressure in the boiler which will then need to be topped-up.

 

How to top up your boiler pressure:

It is quite common for the pressure in your combi boiler to drop which prevents the boiler from working.
